Marwin's Graduation

So, I graduated. I got pinned. I had a great weekend with family and friends. The past 3 and a half years have gone by, I can't say quickly, because there were days that it seemed like forever. I still remeber the day studying before my chemistry final...which I rocked by the way. The online exams for Anatomy 1 and 2, that you would think would be easy considering they were online, but I think they were the hardest tests I have ever taken. Outside of the classroom there was teaching young children how to care for themselves becasue their parents wouldn't. Getting poop on my shoe, which then went thru to my sock and onto my foot, and last but not least my crush, which now  makes me scared to ever go into Racine County. I have gained the best friends I don't think I could have made it through school without Ann, Liz and Cailin. My family has been a great support, Melanie and Dave supporting me and gave me a home to live in, Mom and Dad bailed me out, and Margret sent me just what I needed for a pick me up! I can not forget Calib and Makayla, helping me forget my stress when I walked in the door after a long, hard and smelly day!

So there are a few things that I learned from the actual pinning cerimony that I would like to share.

1. No matter what graduation cerimonies are boring, when planned by the faculty, however the families in the balcony doing the wave made it all worth being there.

2. The quicker that they annouce our name and let us walk the happier everyone is, A young 1 year old tried to get that point across by yelling Marwin during all the boring parts.

3. That the college of nursing feels that they were sucessfull if we, the students, came away from these years having learned how to learn.

Well I am glad I payed to learn how to learn. But, I am grateful for the friends and family that have brought the most joy to my life.
